Solar swimming pool heating is done with one of the two types of collectors; semi rigid polypropylene panel like Powerpro or the flexible Powerstrip.
 
Hot Sun manufactures Powerstrip; it is flexible and it can be cut into any size when the roof needs to be custom fit.  When systems need to be glued down Powerstrip can go just about anywhere the sun is shining and right on the sloped ground avoiding he need for a rack structure. It is fully repairable and much less likely to suffer damage. Flexibility means it can accommodate the expansion of water and there are no issues with the use of chlorine as Powerstrip is made with EPDM synthetic automotive grade thermoplastic.
 
The flexibility allows use directly on a flat roof and it also allows us to glue it directly to wavy s-tile roofs. We're also able to fit these systems where regular collectors can't make good use of available space. You don't need a "good roof" for solar panels anymore. Powerstrip adapts to the space available.

  1. Pool pump moves the water to the solar collectors
  2. Cool water enters the solar collector from the bottom.
  3. Water is heated as it flows upwards through the collector tubes to the top header pipe.
  4. The warm water is then returned to your pool.
  5. This process continues until the desired water temperature is reached.
